how hard is it to build a go kart from a dirt bike motor

i have a 200cc honda patent motor
and the bike is broked beyond repair
so i think i will build a go kart out of it
how much would this cost to build a decent one?

It is gonna take a few bucks. I’d start out with a kart that needs an engine first. You got the right idea, When finished it’s gonna be a beast. Only geeks use lawnmower engines. Bonus is you get a multi-speed gearbox.
If you really wanted to get stingy with it and not knowing how the bike is you could spend about 300 bucks maybe more maybe less. other than the motor how is the brakes on the bike. try to carry that over some how and the shocks on the bike see if it is still good and transfer that over as well. There is some kid on you tube who took his atv and did the same thing, I think if you type in monkey ears and go karts he will come up. The kid has really big ears thats why he is called monkey ears
