i have a 200cc honda patent motor
and the bike is broked beyond repair
so i think i will build a go kart out of it
how much would this cost to build a decent one?
One year of racing. #55 outlaw go kart built by Nick Walsh. Powered by a 16hp briggs twin. This kart is undergoing yet another rebuild, 1.25″ chromoly rear axle, Paul Martin billit disc brakes, and wieight distibution changes just to mention a few. Should have a new build video up in a few months.
Here is Part 2 of my go-kart build, I have gotten alot done since my 1st video. There are NO welds on the go-kart when i made this video but there will be like 1 or 2 welds in the future. Gear Ratios- 11:35 ( I know its really not right) Engine- 6.5HP Gasoline 4-stroke PowerFist 196cc Engine (Honda Clone) Plans- I built it as i went along Wheels- Off a riding Lawnmower (I dont not know the size) Steering wheel- GT Grant 80s after market steering wheel (AWESOME) Why- Go-karts are awesome!
A vid showing the rough build process of my honda powered go kart. Originally bought off ebay for £26 then added bits as and when bargains popped up on ebay/car boot sales etc. Total cost was about £150. Im not sure what the chassis is so if anyone recognises it please let me know. Enjoy I also made the backing track to the video using an MC-505 groovebox
i have a Honda GX200 engine, want to build a go kart, but cant find a go kart body , where could i get one in New Zealand? and any tips etc would be helpful.
This is part two of the go kart build it is finished and all painted up hope you enjoy if you have any comments or questions for me i will answer them as soon as possible! PS: sorry it took so long to post this video
